DOES INTERFAITH SOLIDARITY MEAN DRESS IN SIMILARITY?
Unity is a feeling of shared responsibility. In any unified population, each person must be held accountable for their actions -- as they affect not just that individual, but the entire group.
Having written for Insight over the past two years, I have developed a passion for social justice related journalism. I admire Insight because it is a platform to delve into discomfort, to truly understand others’ identities and experiences, and to start meaningful, impactful conversations with people that we don’t necessarily “agree” with in an effort to broaden our horizons.

I was moved to tears by the newest edition of Insight. The magazine is inspiring and beautiful; I am so proud of our school for doing something like this. I love that you cover a range of issues, with depth and polish. All too often, such material is relegated to "instinct," but this demonstrates you all get how complex, broad, and skill-based equity work is. Congratulations and keep it coming!

[Insight] has inspired me to get involved, to believe that my voice matters and to stand up...When I came to Sidwell, it was empowering to be on a campus that not only promoted itself as a diverse community, but also one that supported conversations about identity, through support of Insight.

You have helped open up a space for voices, experiences and ideas that often go unnoticed or are intentionally pushed aside. Moreover, you have done so in a really beautiful format that showcases the value and importance of those voices.
